It was right after the turn of the century that I fell under GRM's spell. Since then I've (mis)spent countless hours poring through the pages of the magazine and browsing the website. The fellowship has introduced me to several of my best friends, inspired me to build a Stalker, two Miatas, two e30s, and now FrankenFiat has ended up in my garage.

Thanks to all you folks who have shared your passions, your wit, your orneriness and your knowledge. Seriously. We are blessed to live where and when we do. And we are blessed to have Suddard, Wallens, Pasterjack et al' providing this particular playgound for such a merry band of misfits!

If it weren't for cargo shorts, hoodies, t-shirts that haven't looked new since before man landed on the moon and inappropriate footwear I swear to God this magazine would have no readers (and my closet would be empty).

Agreed. This reminds me how long it's been since I've been to a Challenge. Maybe I should put in for some vacation.

I thought I was the only one to do minor jobs in flip flops and sandals. I won't weld, lift heavy objects, or anything like that.. but I have showered my feet in sparks from grinding
