FJ40's had a rear heater that was very small, bolted to the floor and was kinda bitchin. Prob cheaper/easier routed, tho'

That FJ unit is pretty badass. I will really consider one if I can find a good one.

YOU SAID UNIT!!! I meant route, not routed. any hose routing should be easy in this crowd.

I know I can make what I want for $75 and a few hours at the finger break after an hour in my design programme. Saw one on ebay for $150 and it came with the front heater too. I don't want to put thta much up front and have another large heater taking up space.

The heater system is actually $219.95 the $59.95 is for the plenum box.

I was all excited and clicked on the more details tab and got all confused until I read the all important "priced from". I think that JCW was a little deceptive there.

This one looks legit for $62.99 http://www.jcwhitney.com/auxiliary-defroster-kit/p2002894.jcwx?filterid=c2307u0

I found one of the cube type in the storage unit this AM. It must have been out of a military jeep as its 24volt and say military garage all over it. It has three Flip up to direct the air flow doors and one 2 inch or so hole for you to fit a hose. I'll take some pic when i get home with it.

Take a look at a 1st gen 4Runner with rear heat. Heater core, blower motor, control valve, fan speed selector all wrapped up in a package small enough to fit in a center console.
