Does anyone have a recommendation for a decent Honda tuner in the Orlando area for a Champcar. 1994 Honda Accord with an F20B and Hondata S300.
We have a p28 ecu that was tuned a while back on Chrome; however, it misfires from 3-4k RPM once it's hot and screams in VTEC. Replacing all of the fuel and spark components and it's still doing the same thing and I feel the tuner didn't change anything in the mapping for the low range and only concentrated on getting a good HP number and the VTEC mappings squared away as most tuners do.
If you don't mind venturing over to the Tampa/St Pete area you could take it to LHT Performance. They are a well known Honda tuning shop, I took my S2000 there to get some maintenance work done (valves, clutch, fluids, etc.) but he has also done a ton of builds (search LHT Performance on YouTube). They did a really neat K-swapped Insight dubbed the K-Sight that got a lot of attention at the time.
Mase is one of the best when it comes to Hondas. He is closer go Gainsville but travels. He tuned my supercharged S2000 twice.

I had John Vega of http://www.phearable.net/ tune my integra its been nearly a year on the tune and I've been happy. Most of my issues with the car has been hardware outside of the tune, TPS, map sensor going bad, harness issues. Also tuned using s300.

Ctp performance tuning did a friend of mines Integra. Makes 400+. They appear to have done good work... though I'm not 100% because I know little about Honda's.
Thank you both!
I've heard great things about LHT. John has expressed (to me in phone calls/e-mails) that he will only tune vehicles that he's wrenched on. Not sure why I got that answer as others have had better luck with him in regards to tuning. Apparently there aren't a ton of CD5 Accords running in Chumpcar that need tuning so when other team members call they get the same answer lol.
I'll give Mase a call - thanks for the lead!
