I think if you listen to the next part of the sentence it says something like "with D4 direct injection..." or something to that effect.

yeah, people tend to not hear the stuff that might diminish their outrage..
So many people have no idea what a Boxer engine is that they add the horizontally opposed as a way to help people understand what it is.

There is a 30 second pause in the middle of that sentence. Come on dude.
when I hear opposed piston.. I think of the big navy diesels with two cranks that have the pistons coming together to squish the air and fuel into power
