Aren't the real things enough of a money pit???

Gotta say I saw the FEP of the Simon and Simon 1980 power wagon and it is going to be oh so bad!

This excites me.
Any trip to Walmart involves me spending at least 5 minutes digging through the Hot Wheels bin looking for something "good".
In a strange way, I feel weird being an adult all by myself, rooting through toy cars in a store at 2 in the morning.
Just my two cents, but I always enjoyed Tim Boyd's "Modelers Corner" column in Street Rodder Magazine back in the 90s. The subject mater always pertained to the pre-1948 cars that were featured in the publication. The half-page article was always the first thing I turned to. I always thought it would be interesting to have a similar column dedicated to the types of cars featured in GRM. There are plenty of places to see models of 69 Camaros, 55 Bel Airs and NASCAR stuff. Id like to see RX-7's, Civics, Austin Minis, Corollas and of course, Miatas! I hardly have any free time and I have not written a column for any publication since college, but it would give me a legitimate excuse to build more GRMish stuff if you needed submissions. I'm sure we have other readers who would contribute as well.
I have boxes and boxes of Hot Wheels car's I used to play with from a few years ago... I had so many cars I would pick the ones I liked then take the rest and use them to make a racetrack on the floor in my room
I'm all about some Hot Wheels, scale models, and RC Cars. I have about 350 Hot Wheels out of the package at the current moment, over 20 scale models waiting to be built, and a couple RC trucks I race with my son. Here's the last couple models I built.

I'm a slacker and haven't started any, shame on me. But, I can go do that right now for the NSX!
