Admittedly I'm not a Miata guy. I was stuck in traffic today and was next to a cinnamon red metallic MX5 with a 2 piece looking retractable hard top. Never noticed one before and at first I figured it was one of the brand new ones. It looked brand new in my defense. Nice looking car. My almost 16 year old daughter even said, "daddy, you can buy me one of those". How rare was that option?
Sorry, just noticed one of the 5 keys on my keyboard has a coffee spill on it and stopped working. Obviously I was asking about an MX5.
Pretty common, available from 2007-15. We have at least two in that same red here in the shop right now.
There isn't a power hardtop version of the 2016 model yet.
