At this very moment, how many cars are in your garage? Before you ask, yes, the cars you have sitting outside the garage count, too.
Bonus question for the bold: How many of those cars currently run?

A dozen or so. In theory, they all run but I haven't checked on three of them in a while. And then there's the classic Mini, which is...fussy.
Four of those cars are Miatas. Five of them have Miata suspension. Three of them have Miata engines, but only one has the Miata engine that it left the factory with.
Currently own: 22.
In garage at house: 3
In driveway and garage at house: 11
Undercover in storage or in garage: 10
Permanently installed at mechanic's: 1
Running/driving out of 22: 15
3 physically in the garage, 6 counting the ones elsewhere, and all of them run. At least, they did the last I checked -- sadly it's been a while since I drove the Miata.
Current total is down to 6
1956 V6 powered MGA with Jamaican rebody
1962 MGA Mk 2 coupe
1958 MGA Twin Cam (old race car)
1972 Jensen Interceptor
2009 Solstice GXP coupe
2007 BMW Z4M coupe
Does wife's Mazda 3 Sport count?
2 (New Bronco and Pontiac G8) in the garage, 2 ('71 Bronco and '01 GMC Sierra C3) out in the shop.
At one point there were 3 Broncos in the shop (two 2022's and the '71), the GMC, a Jeep XJ, a '66 Chevy C10, and a '66 Porsche 912.
I've...downsized a bit.
Four. MR2 and C4 Vette in the garage, Forester and Tacoma 4WD (258 K, runs and looks like new) outside, all run.
5 including wife's. 0 in the garage because it is still under construction.
4 run.
Selling one soon but going to replace it with a car to do the Lemons Rally and GRM challenge.
Pretty sure this is limit to the number I want to deal with.
Currently in the fleet: 8
Currently at home: 7 (one car stored off-site).
Running: 3 that I can get into and start with minimal fuss. Three that in theory will start with some moderate fiddling. One that is in 1000 pieces and won't start for a long time. Last is a parts car that will vacate the property (hopefully) in the Spring when one of the aforementioned gets fiddled with and can move out of the way.
I have definitely exceeded the number of vehicles I can keep track of.
5 for 5. Everything is running (well even), registered and insured.
I've been cutting projects in favor of working on my business.
Edit: The two miatas are in my garage where I've shoved my "new to me" 25 year old CNC machine, the other three are out in the driveway.
I'm down to three cars, a truck and a motorcycle and that's a comfortable number for me. More than that and they feel more like burdens than assets. It's hard for me to keep more in good running condition and right now everything I own is ready to go.
Two of the cars are race cars. The other is my wife's daily. I daily the truck. I sometimes think I'd like a nice street car to play with but I really don't have the time maintain another vehicle and if I'm looking for something fun I ride the motorcycle.
Y'all need to put in your garage sq footage when answering this because damn.
2 cause I have a 2 car garage. I have somewhere around 7 cars in 3 different states though.
7, 6 running (the rotary is down for engine rebuild...again)
2 in garage, 3 in driveway, 1 at shop (aforementioned rotary), 1 with kid at college
Bonus question: how many spark plugs in your list? A: 36
Personal garage, 3. All running, Susie needs a throttle cable but she runs.
Extended garage including Dad's, 8. Only 1.5 more running there. His VW camper is temperamental.
3 vehicles are "mine", my wife has 1 and shockingly, all of them are running/driving and legal for use.
none of them in the garage. Garage has 3 atv's(1 running), few mini bikes, scooter, dirtbike and they all are "out of service".
If GRM is asking, probably 20 and maybe 10 run. If my wife is asking, I own 2. They both run and are they are each easily worth $100,000.
Own 3, one is by me right now (along with the shared family hauler/winter beater), 2 are in shops. Among them only my AE92 doesn't run - just stopped firing suddenly, possibly old gas. The Samurai surprisingly fired up recently on the very same gas...
I have 6 cars; the three daily drivers and the tow vehicle live outside.
All of them function except one and that one (Formula 500) is getting very close to the motor upgrade being done.
I have two rules.
1. Only take apart one vehicle at a time. This includes even minor upgrades.
2. Do not drag home non runners and or not fully assembled cars (it doesn't have to run well but it must be complete and running)
I find it very rare for someone to be able to juggle multiple projects. It's a fine line between hobby and hoarding.
