Who needs this, you just need to go faster.
I always just put lunch trays under the rear tires and put the handbrake on. Wendy's has the strongest ones
Drift training? Yeah right. First of all you will never drift a FWD car like that, so you can't train for that. If you want to learn to drift a RWD car, doing that will involve totally different throttle modulation, which is a major part of drifting.
Fun? Yes. Training? No.
Maybe useful for training for rare whip oversteer in a FWD car, but otherwise, nope.
The pessimist in me is wondering how butt-puckeringly awful it would be if one of those failed mid-drift, after you'd gotten the hang of "drifting" with them and had built up a decent amount of speed.
Tank slapper, projectile vomit, over-correct, shart, loop off the road/track, projectile vomit.
Rather than wrestle those plastic tires on and off, wouldn't it be easier to air down the tires, put a plastic hoop around the OD, then overfill them?
I remember when drifting became more well known, so many kids came to drifting.com asking how to drift their EK Civics. We politely told them that you can't go full Takumi in their Fast & Furious Honda. Some took the hint that you need RWD, and other more stubborn ones became forum fodder.

Years ago I was explaining that method for drifting to the head of PR for a company that's largely known for producing front-drive cars. We were at a press intro at the time.
After explaining it, he called to one of the members of his team: Once we're back in the office, get me some cafeteria trays.

I've built a few. While my current one has been more of a shelf queen, it's a ton of fun
