A fun activity I find myself doing is checking the dates on people's tires. Perhaps not surprisingly, there are a lot of people out there driving around on aging rubber.

We used shoe polish on a rental car for an autoX once. It wouldn't scrub off so we just spray painted over it.

Yeah, don’t do that. And, related, ever see a really worn tire throwing sparks as it goes down the highway?

I'm building a trailer right now and have a set of never used, 23 year old Victoracers, still with the stickers on them, on rims. If they weren't so hard I'd probably use them
