I use the ATV for everything from moving the tow dolly to pulling cars to playing in the snow. The steer tires are shot so I ordered up a new pair. I have tried everything but the chainsaw to get the old ones dismounted. May try that next unless ye GRM world has suggestions.

Are you trying to break the bead? I use an old crank bumper jack. A ratchet one will work too. There are hand small wheel bead breakers you can buy. 4 tire irons and some help will get the tire off the rim

I had one set of very old tires that wouldn't come off of split rims. I had to burn them off. I do have a chainsaw set up to cut tires.

I made a ghetto bead breaker out of a length of 4x4 with a bolted on wedge, also made of 4x4 on the bottom. Stick one end under a truck, the wheel/tire under the wedge, push down, pop.

Then lube it up w/ KY jelly (seriously, I demounted and mounted scores of motorcycle and kart tires w/ KY)and lever it off. One of the tiny handful of genuinely good Harbor Fright tools are their huge-ass tire levers. Big tire levers are like big hammers; used correctly they do the job in one economical motion and are in reality ~less~ likely to damage things than flailing at the wheel w/ small ones.
