Honestly, with a better B pillar / rear window treatment that would be downright awesome. It's still the best molesto-vette conversion I've seen.
As far as the workmanship, looks pretty great from what I can see on my phone screen. It's good enough that I had to look more than once to figure out what kind of car it was.
I don't hate the Volvo one, but I am in love with the 57-58 chevy one. That does it for me. Thank God im poor.
Somebody must have spent a bunch of money on one of these and want out for pennies on the dollar. I really like that.

Same boat.
It's not like its that methhead Mercedes Daytona Prototype thing we were talking about a few months ago.
It's a sad day that a disco-vette made into the Batmobile has the best proportions out of a group of kit cars. I'll take mine with a big block and flames out the back please.
Some people need to stay out of the shop after taking their medication. There are definitely uglier cars in existence, but why people need to do this to a Corvette is beyond me. I would drive the heck out of the batmobile though. That would make a fun Chumpcar/LeMons entry.
I like the idea of remaking classic cars with modern tech. I just would prefer they not chopping up a classic in the process.
Wheels are too big and need a more retro look.
I know they put big money into doing that but a buy it now of $45k seems high, guess they are looking for somone with more money then sense.
As the vette is 'glass... who said a classic Volvo was chopped up? Looking at the pictures, it looks well done. I am willing to bet it is all glassfibre.
As for "I wouldn't do that to a vette" GM only churned out how many millions of them?

From the add.
A complete 1992 Corvette and a complete 1967 Volvo 1800 were the starting point for this professionally constructed custom car. The body panels of the Corvette were modified and/or replaced with the Volvo 1800 body parts to create a vehicle that appears to be a modern looking Volvo 1800, but with all the amenities of a modern vehicle. This car is basically a Corvette that looks very much like a custom Volvo 1800 . It is titled and licensed as a 1992 Corvette.
It's not like a '92 Corvette is a rare classic. As for the Volvo, I know where one is sitting now that you could pick up for about 5 bills. It's rusted enough that it would be a good donor for a project like this.
