How to satisfy AADD when buying a car isn't an option?

I usually sell some gadget or other crap to offset the cost of another car to satisfy car AADD.

It doesn't help that Mrs. Zero is telling me to go and buy it . . .

I'm always thinking of ways to do this...I don't have a garage so I can't stockpile anything. Right now I'm really wanting to buy a project go kart and have some 6-10 hp fun! Along with that would be building some sort of low, lockable enclosure to put it in so the goons that live in my complex don't jack it from me and drive it down Independence Blvd.!

HAM radio can always me time consuming and unnecessarily expensive. But cheap after you're set up.

MY AADD has been limited by me trying to hold on to my new money philosophy, which is no debt ever, pay cash for everything. If I can't afford it, I don't get it.

As far as the urge to tinker, I have a ton of deferred maintenance on both of my cars that I need to catch up on. It may not be upgrades, but at least I can get my hands dirty.

I refocus my AADD towards my other hobbies and what not. Specifically, right now, guitars and building a DIY tube guitar amp. Parts arrive today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
