Don't worry about the shock range, although the valving will become less appropriate as the spring rate goes up.

There has been a change in the rules and it appears that Bilstein HDs (not revavled) may now be legal and free. With the available $100 points do you think it would still make sense to do bumpstops ($40)/brake valve ($25)/aero or would it make sense to do areo /adjustable coilover setup running say 550/350lbs springs ($80) and not lower the car as much?
The point values are based on the "base" model car. Swapping parts from higher performance versions of the car is expressly addressed in the rules. You can do it, BUT you get charged the points. Although Bilsteins may be allowed now, stuff like LSD, larger factory sway bars, engine swaps, head swaps, etc must be disclosed, and assessed the appropriate points.
You can try to hide it, but don't get caught. You can get sent home with no refund.
