In it's class, the Genesis is huge...especially in terms of width.... I parked the E30 next to one the other day for laughs: I should've taken a pic!

not sure on the warrenty. When I was involved in the Hyundai community, the joke was "america's most voided warrenty"

I had aftermarket 16 inch rims on mine. Whenever it went into the dealer, I used to slap the old 15 inch steel rims back on.

When I had the airback light come on 2 years into ownership, they did not cover it due to the aftermarket stereo I had installed. When I found out the dash dimmer was dead a few days after the airbag was taken care of.. they blamed it on the stereo also.. even though it had worked BEFORE it went in for work.

they did however replace the trans at 30,000 when it machined itself from the inside out

theres a Genesis coupe here at work, and occasionally I park next to it. My G20 is about as big a car as I am interested in owning, and its a sedan. The Hyundai is a behemoth comparatively speaking.

Im used to a 96' 4 cylinder 5 speed Ranger. Peppy it aint so that may cloud my judgment. It Handles like a sow since it has original shocks at 204k miles. So even a Red Flyer wagon would handle and accelerate better.

I'm looking forward to running against a Genesis. Should be interesting. I see a second place for one in the results of the Dixie and Texas National tour events, which were won by an SRT4 and a Protege. I've never had either one of those come close to my times, though the Mazda was forgotten because of the Mini dominance of G Stock.
