Does anyone know if a Hyundai/Kia Theta 1 cylinder head will bolt to a Theta 3 (Smartstream 2.5) shortblock? Eyeball testing on the internet makes them look similar, and the Theta 3 only has a slightly longer stroke than the old 2.4 so I am not sure a new block, or even block height, would have been necessary. That said, there are obviously limitations to the eyeball/internet test.
