I know there's a few owners of the turbo 1.6 hy/Kia cars here. Next time one of y'all are changing oil can you get me some good photos of that lower metal oil pan?
I think this is the only difference in pans between the turbo and na cars. The t cars get an extra quart of capacity over our na and I'd really like to see if I can get that pan to use on ours. A,) so I can extend oci's on the wife's car and 2.) have a little more margin of error for the race car.
I have one of those.. I need an oil change soon. I can get a picture when I do it. Probably this weekendish. If you where closer I would let you borrow it to measure it and stuff.
I didn't put in any real effort but Amazon lists an oil pan for Kia 1.6L for $19.99
Buy one of each to hold them in your hand and compare. Favorable return policy!
It looks like the lower section is different shape. But I haven't crawled under one to see.
