Gonna open up a completely new world for me, as I've never ridden a motorcycle before, just pedal powered things.
Picked this up about 45 minutes from my house, original owner, all records, always garaged with some nice farkles. Loaded it into my friends EuroVan and brought it home...

1) Congrats!
2) That fit in a EuroVan?
Looks like a water-cooled bike but where's the radiator on this thing? It's safely protected from the elements, wherever it is.
Nice bike though!

Nice! I always feel like I'm 6 inches too short for adventure bikes. As a first bike, go ahead and knock it over now - it'll get those first boo boos out of the way. - kidding - sorta. Sign up for at least the beginner MSF class and buy the gear. Then ride the wheels off it.

I've been trying to extoll the virtues of EuroVans to you guys for years now!!! They are closer in size to a Sprinter than a minivan, I could fit my Hawk GT in wit my buddy's R6 side by side if I did it right...
Anyways, sweet purchase! Time to start hanging out on Sprockets...

Very nice. Two of my friends have had those and they really liked them.

Is that an aftermarket seat?

For some reason I thought Eurovans had a big box in the back and the seats like faced eachother?

That's only on one trim level, the MV, and all that crap is removable anyways.
I want one of those with the obnoxiously large fog lights. Unfortunately I'm with Oldtin, when I went to the motorcycle show I couldn't even get on most of the dirt bikes, "excuse me sir do you happen to have a step stool."

Yep, it's watercooled, the radiator is in between the black bar cage on the front.
Woody, BMW makes several seats for these, the one on the bike is the "low" seat, which lets me almost flat foot the bike.
I'm about 6' tall, but I'm all torso, so the low seat really helps me feel more comfortable on it.
Going to enroll in a motorcycle training class soon, weather is in low teens here, so kinda cold to go!
The EuroVan was awesome, we took out all the seat except the front seats, removed the windshield and mirrors from the bike and it fit perfectly.

EuroVans are TALL, whatever their other... errr, shortcomings may be. Tall enough that they can be converted for wheelchair access without changing the roofline or the floorpan.
Oh, and very nice bike - color me envious.

I had a 93 Eurovan and I used to put Motorcycles in the back all the time.
Sent ya a message yamaha.
WEIRD! My buddy Bill bought one last week. +1 on the "Go make it muddy!!!"
Once it warms up here I will. Currently around 10-15 degrees out, that's way too cold for me to ride.
Just signed up for the motorcycle safety class, planning on Feb 16, 17 with a back up date of March 23, 24 if the weather doesn't cooperate.
