Happy days was a fun show for a teen when it came out. I was already well over it, when he jumped the shark; didn't know about that episode till years later.
All these decades later, it's still a great line, and will be used long after anyone remembers why, I think.

It's also an automatic, not that that will matter to the buyer who will inevitably park it in the garage under a cover.
Style is in the eye of the beholder. These cars have always looked like jelly beans with handles to me, but style has rarely been the strong point of Japanese cars.
I can attest to their performance, though, They were almost a dead heat with my daily driver of the time, a turbo 3.2 Fiero GT - The Fiero was a few hundred pounds lighter and the Supra had a small power advantage (around 20 bhp).
I kept seeing one on our local highway and neither of us could pull the other. And I guess a Fiero GT owner really shouldn't be calling out a Supra for having a silly looking rear wing....(mea culpa)

Seems a bit much for a Sport Roof car with an automatic and tan interior.
Back in the day, we had a press car that I'd think would be the one: Turbo, six-speed, white over black. I can't remember if it had the Sport Roof. If no Sport Roof, that could be the unicorn.
I listed this in the cars for sale section but found it funny that the Supra and 300zx were also mentioned in the comments section:
I can only imagine the people who bought a Supra Turbo new, modified the hell out of it, beat it to death, and sold it for probably $10K. I will admit that I kinda would like them to see that auction... I know, I feel bad... but not really.
Back in the 00'ies I remember a guy hard parking at the ricer gathering at the movie theater with a 90's supra like that. He had taken a sawzall to it to make it a targa.

Why care? It didn't actually sell for that falsely inflated number. Unless the bidders knew where all the cocane was stashed in it.
I thought they were ugly when they were new and my opinion hasn't changed. But that's just like... my opinion man!
