We sneak off for a day or two once in a while combined with business travel, but seldom take a real vacation.
This time Margie has taken me to British Columbia for a cruise.
I will have little email or message board contact. Hopefully I will be at least able to hunt for something horrible and rusty to drag home out here.
Loved our recent road trip to Vancouver Island. Really wish I had a Miata to take on that trip instead of our Highlander. Lovely, deserted roads and great forest scenery to cruise through.
Have fun and enjoy the time away from the garage, everyone needs a break to recharge a bit.
If she dragged you, I strongly recommend forgetting this place for a while. Might want to avoid the rusty stuff too.
Have fun!
Is there something wrong with me. I immediately went on Craig's List when I got here.
In reply to Tim Suddard:
lots of JDM goodness in those parts

Did you see the gif of the guy poking the really large snake with a stick. He was in less danger than you are right now.
You think I'd really post that then start trouble? Heck I only started the Goodnight, Baltimore thread so you all could report me as missing if you didn't see me post for a few days after things got bad. I'm curious as to what not yet legal in the states, but passable in Florida, because Florida, JDM goodness they can't resist bringing home. I'm hoping BG chassis Mazda GTR.
Go a little farther north and bring back that free locomotive in Alaska.

So you're off to B.C. Drop in and see my son and daughter while you're there. They tell me they'd never move back east ever.
Goes away on vacation and the kid shatters his collarbone, that's always the way things happen isn't it.
Are you going up the Inside Passage from Port Hardy?
Spend a day in Tofino if you have time.
Victoria is also pretty nice.
To "scratch the itch" swing on by Tacoma and throw a wrench at my Alfa!
