Sometimes it pays to be the only one to show up. Guy was selling off his brother's estate and I was the only one to show this morning. So much stuff had been stolen since he's out of town that he told me this Anglia and Studebaker truck for $80 each. There's more parts to the truck that I didn't take pictures of.
Ill give you a hundred for the truck and promise to challenge car it.....

It started with a CL ad last Thanksgiving for some engines. I was heading out of town so I left money with Chris to check them out. Guy flaked out so I told Chris not to bother. Friday I'm on CL and I see an ad for a crapy home made buggy. I recognize the engines listed as the same guy. Inside that ad he mentions the Anglia for $500. Call and we arrange to meet around 7 this morning but he's running late and I have get to work. I run by there a few hours later and as he shows me the Anglia he says $80. Ok that's a big drop. I see the Studebaker and he says make an offer. I hem and haw a bit so he says $80 for it also. I really think it was a get some gas money to get home situation.
And it gets better, he called me to let me know he found the bed, two extra doors, other little parts, and oh yeah causally mentioned that he had the title for the Studebaker. I just need to get the ex-wife to sign off on it.
Can't wait to see what these become. Best of luck getting the ex-wife to sign off on the title without paying her.

Nope. Not on the car.
But knowing stampie, it'll be a photo worthy bribe.

Very good point, Ohio can be a pain when it comes to title transfers but my last two out of state transfers were smooth as could be.

The Supreme Court has already ruled that bribing an exwife to sign off on a title is exempt as fees to title and register said hoopie.

To be fair this time i’m not so much LS swapping a Corvair as much as I am body swapping an ls1 corvette. I definitely don’t consider it an engine swap.

Dusterbd13 pointed out to me that I forgot to mention the Studebaker is a 48. I had to use a comealong to move it 10 feet before I could hook the truck up to it and pull it the rest of the way out. It kicked my old fat ass.
