This truck was my dad's. He's been working it pretty hard lately and it's developed a rod knock. My task is to take my mediocre wrenching skills and swap out engines. Build thread incoming.
Truck is an XL, fleet truck ordered new by the construction company my dad and I used to work for. Very very few options, and I like it that way.

I'd call it Project Spinel.
a slightly less hard red stone often confused as a ruby.
IT can be found as a weathered red stone in loose sediment because of how hard it is.
idea for something to work into the name, or not. I was just having fun playing along!
