I didn't expect him to pick this up as a daily
63 Ranchero with a factory 260, auto, nine inch rear. Slick little thing. He already started buying the clutch pedal assembly bits to swap out the ford-o-matic.
Those posteriors!
Neatest thing I saw was someone grafting the full radius wheel openings onto the rear. Had a totally new vibe to it.

This. That looks like a fun place to get paid to be!
El Camino/ ranchero makes perfect daily. Does all i need a truck to do. Been shaking mine down this past week.
Nah. 300 with efi and aod. 4 wheel discs, original torque thrusts. Lowered an inch or three. Cold air, good stereo.
Yeah, that would be a few grand extra....
In the shop currently are
59 lancia flaminia (alloy body by touring)
59 abarth 750 Allemano roadster
68 lancia fulvia zagato
64 jag e type coupe
Early 60's Zink sports racer
62 Ferrari 250 gte
Triumph tr250
59 MGA coupe
Lancia appia zagato
62 Sunbeam tiger
And a couple of 63 ford falcons
I really like my job.
In the long term storage building is. 67 triumph 2000 mk1, alfa duetto vintage racer, another series one e type, Porsche 924 and probably another I am forgetting
Paging oddjob love the Ranchero. Looks really clean! Assuming the shop is located somewhere that doesn't salt it's roads for winter?

I have been meaning to start it up again. I will see what I can do.
I've owned a few Sunbeams in my time - I don't think there's any such thing as a 1962 Tiger. Shelby and Ian Garrad started their prototype work in 1963 and the first MkI cars were sold in 1964. Could it be an Alpine? Or maybe an Alpine swap? The latter would be very cool - I always loved the tail fins on the early Alpines...
Appleseed wrote: I know it a delivery, but see what I mean? totally different looking car, right?
This (or the same thing in the later 64/65 body) with a late FI 5.0, AOD and good brakes would make a really cool race car hauler.
Adrian_Thompson wrote: Didn't you start on a Triumph 2000 as well or was that someone else?
I did. Trying to decide to continue or get rid of it so I can push the turbo fiat back up the work list.

I just grabbed a year at random. I know it is an early tiger. It has been verified as genuine by a few experts.
So many cars to keep track of I forgive myself for being off on the year now and then.
In reply to DWNSHFT:
It is an early Lancia Fulvia with the alloy body by Zagato.
Cool little thing fwd 1300cc narrow angle V4. Feels like an early gti, looks like it was from 1969's version of the future.
Well this thread is full of unexpected coolness. I would have been ok with just early Falcon stuff but that shop inventory puts it over the top.
