I took the BBS rims I got from a VW Wolfsburg Jetta to have some tires mounted on them for my Subaru, and found out that they have to have a spherical nug nut/bolt in order to work.
I had no idea of this, even though I own an MKIII Golf, because I took off the lame 14" rims and used a 15" BMW rim with the BMW lug bolts on that car.
In any case, I have to find spherical lug nuts with a Subaru thread pattern. I found some spherical lugs over at this place but I have to make sure the thread pitch is the same.
Does anybody else know where I can get some of these?

I'm pretty sure the Subaru thread pitch is M12x1.50.
EDIT: WRONG! just checked my chart, it is M12x1.25. Same as Peugeot, Nissan/Infiniti, Mercury Villager, and 95+ Geo Metro.
Yeah, if it was 1.5 I'd be all set.
I might just have to find some new lugs and convert it to 1.5 pitch OR get the lug holes in the rims bored out to be conical instead of spherical.
Has anybody ever done that?
I think Hondas use spherical seats on their wheel nuts. I think.....maybe.....
possibly.......
12X1.25 Ball seat?
No problem

That helps, Ditch, but $54 bucks for 20 lug nuts is a bit insane.
However, I'll take that part number down to the local shop and see if they can order me some.
I got them cheap at the local Pep Boys. Blister packs sitting on the wall.

Er, when I bought wheel adapters for my VW and had to buy taper-seat lug bolts, I paid around $4/pop with shop discount. $54/20 isn't half bad at all.
if you think about it.. that is only a little over 2 dollars a lug.. sounds cheap to me
Hey guys, I just got a great deal on lug nuts!
