I am considering buying this just to take to Radwood LA in December. The teal is just so sexy.
I would be putting my boys two BMX bikes on the roof. We bought both for $50 in pretty bad shape and fixed them up.
I would also need a Mike Mcgill Powell Peralta board or a Vision Mark Gonzales to go with it.
Too bad it is autotragic though

YES. Teal = instant Radwood credibility.

And not just teal body color, teal accents on the wheels and upholstery. Hard to get more period piece than that.
Yes. Want. I can't remember--was the Indy package based off of the GTU/GTZ, or was it just the wheels? My Baretta knowledge is rusty.

The Indy package was derived from the GTU. The GTZ had the 180hp Quad4, different monochromatic wheels, and different body trim.
WOW that is clean, and awesomely vintage. Also, TIL that GRM has Beretta trim package experts. Love this place

I have fond memories of my dad's '88 with the 2.8-liter V6 and digital dash. I miss the sound of the old 2.8s and 3.1 MPFIs on the road.

I always got irritated when people said the 2.8 and 3.1s were "bad" engines. True, they had some reliability troubles in RWD applications (likely being overworked) but in my family's experience that engine was an anvil. The only issue we ever had with them was the leaky intake gaskets, and once that was fixed they churned along for mile after mile. The engine in my father's '89 Cutlass Ciera had 250k miles and ran strong when he got rid of it (pervasive rust issues) and somebody ran it in a demo derby, the engine and transmission survived unscathed and then were swapped into another vehicle and put back on the road.
It wasn't too long ago that color used to make me nauseous. Everyone in my area painted their 90's Mustang that color.
The teal is great but the pink lettering takes it over the top. ;-)
Show up with $1200 cash, he'll take it.
Then sell it for $2k at Radwood.
Teal is cool, but Cayman Green just shouts 90's.
