Fake marina or not, the inaugural Miami Grand Prix served up the sort of action and excitement we’ve come to expect within one of the top ranks of motorsport.
Starting in P3, Max Verstappen quickly overtook Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz–who started in P2–going into Turn 1. Then, o…

Is there any harm in not posting the winner the day after? Thankfully I watched the race live, but on weeks I can't I normally still find it safe to read here as long as I avoid the F1 and Meme threads. Spoiling the winner in the thread title would kinda stink
Yeah honestly this post spoiled it for me (planning to watch tonight), but I should know better than to browse a motorsports website when trying to avoid news like that lol.
Comes in my email with the results in the header. I had already watched it (not sure why except to maybe see The Prince humiliated once more) so it didn't bother me. Right now the only real GP racing seems to be on two wheels.
How about this for the email or article header: "Spoiler: Miami GP result" ????
Agreed. Was planning on watching the race tonight. The email in my inbox spoiled it.

Really? The next day is too soon?
It's not like the race was at 4am and you saw the results before breakfast.
I had it recorded and was avoiding YouTube. This thread was a bit of a buzz kill. I don't think GRM has done this before. Oh well.

I don't even watch Formula 1 and I knew this from about a billion other sources.
Hey, everyone. Sorry about spoiling the race–it was never my intention to do so. I thought that, having been a full day after the race, it would be acceptable to break news of the finish. I now understand that many fans of Formula 1 do not or are unable to watch the live race and instead watch the race later.
I also understand that the headline as it appeared in the newsletter spoiled the race for many of you, and I apologize. We don’t normally cover Formula 1 races, but we had a longtime GRM photographer on the ground and wanted to give you all some exclusive F1 photos.
Going forward, regarding F1 and other motorsports, I’ll make sure to avoid spoilers when reporting the news.

Don't worry. Your reputation as Colin the Race Spoiler will diminish over the next decade or so.
In reply to Colin Wood :
I typically watch it early in the week. Monday night or Tuesday night. On a rare occasion it may be Wednesday but I would fully expect to see a spoiler by then. Generally my weekends are spent with family or work around the house or in some cases office work that I rarely have time to watch it live. As for the thread title I am sure you are creative enough to come up with something in the future. For this on something about having boots on the ground and behind the scenes photos would have got me to click in for sure.
