So...by my count the top 10 fastest are half electric...color me impressed! The McMurtry is insane...I actually gasped out loud at how fast it is while watching the video.

You're right, I'd seen that. All of the downforce without the inherent drag of a winged car. It's surely got some sort of variability in the amount of downforce depending on requirements, too.

The original fan / sucker car was built in TX a long time ago. It was declared illegal before it ever competed. Not all downforce is created equal.
