After testing driving and checking out the ST sisters, BR-Z, WRX, Si, and a used V70R I've narrowed my choices because the R Wagon sold the same afternoon I looked at it.......

I've narrowed my decisions down to a 2015 Civic Si in Dyno Blue Pearl (base Si) or 2016 WRX in WR Blue (base model). Price difference about $5500. MPGs are very similar. One FWD the other AWD. K series is proven, FA20 I think has shown some promise to be a more reliable successor to the EJ (although no subie rumble :( ) WRX looks better and I currently enjoy my WRX STI. Subaru also holds residual value and isn't as expensive to ensure in my area as the Si is (lots of Honda thefts).
