Whenever I feel like bitching, I think about the course workers. Get up early and spend all day in the hot sun watching other people have fun.... So I shut up. Sears Point is 1 hr, Laguna Seca - 2 hours, Thunderhill - 2 1/2, Buttonwillow - 4. Honestly, I feel pretty lucky.
Whenever I feel like bitching I remember I am on the way to the track.

I used to live within earshot of PIR. There was nothing like stepping outside to hear Champ Cars practicing. Man I miss that.
I just ran at Daytona. It's less than 15 minutes from my door. That was nice. No hotels, no long drive.
