A bunch of money? Ed Zachary how much does a set of plugs, a fuel filter, and a few other regular maintenance items run? Clearly a LOT less than a new truck.

The "dont care, its disposable, will buy a new one" mentality drives me up a wall. Buuut, since I smell the torch fuel and hear the sharpening of pitchforks, I will politely take my leave.

I think the mentality in this case is that because its a business vehicle the owner was attempting to not spend anything on it, yet write it off entirely as depreciation. Although I'd think you could the same with equipment maintenance and write that off as well, keep the vehicle longer.
