Don't get too bummed that it's a crossover/wagon/almost minivan-like thing, look at these specs: 1000hp, 378 miles range, 0-60 in under 2.4 seconds, AKA almost as quick as a GRC car (or a tiny bit slower than a Porsche 918) ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/googly-18.png)

Looks a little better than the last "near-production" concept they showed off too.
Looks like a lady's razor with wheels. ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/whatthe-18.png)
I don't mind the look or size but I'd like to know ballpark price and release date.
Price isn't out yet but the most specific rumors are saying $180k. It's supposed to go on sale before the end of 2017, but with the trouble building their production plant, who knows.
Everyone who has been involved but left the company is calling it vaporware.
I read the article on google news last night. I would not give them a dime and yet they are asking for $5,000 "refundable" deposit with some of it going to eco-friendly foundations. Well if some of the deposit is going to eco-friendly third parties then how is it refundable? The old if it walks, talks and smells like a duck. .. .
Another thing that struck me is that this car is so far away from being just a car. It can do all these ge-wizz things but how is it at being a car?
