Looks like there's a good chance of rain in Indianapolis today.
From what I'm reading, there will be two waves, with a good chance of getting the race in between them. If there's a delayed start, that will probably ruin Larson's chance of doing the double, though.
I wonder whether management might be a bit more prone to postponing to Monday if Larson has to leave? If he has to choose, he runs the 600. Does Indycar gain/lose more by not having Kyle, or by running the race holiday Monday?

It appears he's staying in Indy for the 500. He'll have to get a waiver from NASCAR for missing the start of the race there.

Yeah, that was "impressive". I feel for Ericsson, didn't even get a chance to complete one lap due to hardly a fault of his own.
I had the impression they had more crashes during practice than the last few years as well, or were they just better publicized?

This will be a jinx but it seems to have settled down.
He needs to say that Harry Hogg gave him a special set of tires, and that he knew he could go around the outside.
He went half a lap early. Plus, he was dancing on a razor blade. Some of his in car stuff was terrifying.
He had a bad clutch from the first or second pit stop, and it got worse from there. Made it hard to leave the pits.
