Commenting on the Formula one thread regularly on here, I am surprised we don't have a Indycar thread.

2021 Indycar Schedule

Driver announcements:

Jones lands full-time IndyCar return with Coyne Vasser Sullivan

Hinchcliffe secures full-time Andretti ride for 2021

PPG signs on as primary sponsor for McLaughlin

De Silvestro to make Indy 500 return in Penske-aligned Paretta entry

Marco Andretti steps aside from full-time driving, will race at Indy only

Road to Indy

INDY LIGHTS RACES TO BE BROADCAST ON PEACOCK PREMIUM IN 2021

My pics this year Indycar:

Rookie of the Year: Scott McLaughlin, so far he is the only full timer.

Hard Charger: Scott McLaughlin, I think he will crash a lot this year but finish strong. Rogro will probably crash more though.

Indy 500: Marco Andretti ( I pick him almost every year)

Championship:

1. Rossi

2. Dixon

3. Josef

4. Herta

5. O'Ward

Road to Indy:

Indy Lights Champion: Kyle Kirkwood, close battle with Sting Ray Rob

Indy Pro 2000 Champion: Reece Gold, might be a lean year so not sure who will be the competition. Sabre Cooke has done well in karting but not sure how well she will do in season 2.

USF2000 Champion: Christian Rasmussen or Eduardo Barrichello, not sure if they are both returning to the series.

I can't really argue with your top 4 picks for the championship. I'm going to throw Hunter-Reay in at the 5th spot though.

Andretti has a hell of a driver lineup this year.

Hoping this is Rossi's year.  He got a lot of the bad luck out last year, at least one would hope that is the case.

In reply to camaroz1985 :

I think team Andretti had a off year other then Herta, he was the most consistent. RHR is a great driver but he has been so inconsistent and the St. Petersburg race was a complete melt down of the team.
