Serves them right for not keeping the old version of VIR with the Oak Tree available.
Seriously though, the numbers for NASCAR Ignition 21 are bad. Motorsport Games Inc. is basically just a rugpull. iRacing hired the rFactor physics guy. I don't know why anyone would support this.

Contract is up. Sell the rights to the highest bidder for the next 5 years rinse and repeat. Nothing to see here.
I watch a guy on you tube called GP Laps. He was saying that it is a complete pull from the platform. What happens to those that paid for the car? From my understanding is they won't let you even use the Indy cars on line at all.

No content is disappearing, just the name "Indycar"
Basically, iRacing can't setup any official races using the Dallara IR18 (an indycar) on a track that Indycar is currently using. So all official races will be on non indycar tracks after Jan 1 but if you want to host a race or run an AI race you can use whatever track you like. On top of that you cannot broadcast races of hosted Indycar's on Indycar tracks.
It's a bit strange but we have seen similar things with the official 24 hours of LeMans not being able to run but iRacing had a work around so they could still host a 24 hour race at LeMans.
All they've done is pissed off a group of their not as large as they'd like fanbase.

They sure did. Indycar twitter and r/indycar are acting like this is the end of the damn world.
Nah, once someone says "pandering" shows they have an agenda.
dean nailed it, contract up, who will pay the most, done. We would all do the same regarding our services.
