Front bumper is weird, and she sits too high - either the front lip needs to drop down, as well as the skirts, or redesign suspension for lower ride height.
Id rather have the 370 myself - they never should have messed with the first G coupe they did...they got it right, then messed it up as they went along.
The car looks far better without the cheesy skirting. I don't really get the point of the coupe anyway. It has no real benefits over the sedan.
I don't understand the comments of needing more power. 348 doesn't get the job done? The original G was more than fast enough for anything but full on track driving with 260 hp. Still is.
More is always better, for the most part. But there is such a thing as enough. A Veyron with 2000 horsepower would be incredible. But I'd say the one with 1000 has enough.

You just pretty much said that 2000hp sounds better. Sounds like 1000hp isn't enough.

Because 4-doors look awful. A coupe bodies move the b-pillar away from your head, and you get a bigger door opening for easier entry/exit.
Did I mention some folks don't like 4 doors the same way you seem not to like 2?
I wish more manufacturers would offer both, so everyone gets what they like.

I switched my allegiance at some point. I used to only want sport coupe type cars. But once everyone built everything on the same heavy assed platform (like a Z car and a big SUV), I changed my mind. Well, that and my two little ones that complain about getting in and out. And a lot of cars, say a 3 series, look pretty much the same whether they be 2 or 4 door.
In reply to Otto Maddox:
2 doors alone do not make a sportscar, but I feel there are benefits to have only 2 doors. Yes there are benefits to having 4 as well. Styling wise, I've never seen a 4 door look better that 2. Again, I like how the G35 offered both.
The platform sharing here is odd at best, but the weight issue seems divorced form the door issue.
I thought the 2 door was shorter and lighter - or is that an illusion created by the styling? It definitely looks better.

Holy wheel gag batman!
How soon till some stancher gets his hands on one?
Back to the car... i actually like it. But it would IMMEDIATELY get lowered.
And perhaps a front lip.

The problem is that 50 grand price. You can get a Shelby GT500 with 550 hp for that kind of money.
In reply to Alan Cesar:
Yeah, but aren't those different target markets? G coupes seem to be popular with young ladies with good jobs and no kids.
In reply to Otto Maddox:
Maybe, yes, but would that market buy the IPL version, or the regular one?
The gal (hey, it's women's history month) who put bronze Volks on her go-fast G Coupe, though, might reconsider a new one when she realizes how much more grunt she can get for her money. A Mustang would be a bit of a downgrade when it comes to interior quality, but it's not as big a difference as I expected.

When you are driving it, does it feel like you are in a different car from the sedan? My thoughts on the first G coupe after driving it was that from the inside it felt nearly identical to the sedan unless you turned around and looked at the little back seats.
you also forgot about the 500 or so pounds that separate it from the z.
imo the g37 is better in every way compared to the g35, except for in the looks department.
the engine is REALLY neat though.
