So sad. These suffered from being inexpensive to buy and run for far too long, so they were bought and run by people who are cheap. And of course, they've been rusting for 30 years.

About the wheels - the 85 has 13" wheels, the 86-87 has 14". Much easier to find rubber for the latter. There were a lot of year-by-year changes too, which makes it fun if you're looking for parts.

That said, if you find a good one, they're fun. My wife calls it "your weird little hatchback thing" and says it smells like an old man. But I don't care. Best way I've found to get 33 mpg.

In reply to Keith Tanner: Keith, I agree. I truly loved my 85Si. But yes, it was getting tough to find competitive tires for the 13" wheels even when I sold it. Although I think the '86 wheels look terribly silly, I'd rather have them because of the tire choices available.

Mine's currently on something with a 400 treadwear rating.

I've been playing the game of "what's the most appropriate wheel" since I got mine. I have lots of wheels that will fit, given that it's almost the same fitment as the Miata. But most look wrong. Too modern.

Best I've come up with is the Enkei 92, but even that's a bit questionable. The 15" look enormous on a first gen CRX.

The Enkei Apache would probably look right - but now we're over 16 lbs, and that's more than I'd prefer.

The new TR Motorsport FF10 might work.
