Magnus is HUGE. To a large extent he did for Porsches what Tiger Woods did for golf. He helped change the perception of Porsche from something precious that only rich people and racers could appreciate and he made it hip. Not only that, he made it OK to modify Porsches without turning them into kit cars.
He seems like a cool dude and all, but can someone explain to me what makes his builds so special?
I can't really find any details on any of them; as best as I can tell he just does a nice, basic, resto-mod, adds a couple of his stickers and drills a couple of (tasteful) 'speed holes' in the car.
They certainly look very nice, but I guess I don't get why they're iconic. As opposed to say.... virtually anything on the GRM forum? Maybe being a regular reader of the builds/project cars forum has skewed my perception of what's special?
