The horsepower difference between the two compression ratios is all of 2hp.

Well, I've decided now, but, all the parts in question ARE on hand! I have all of it.
On this 8.3:1, 2.0 motor, would you have run the 284 or the 292, if 284 on heavy springs or stock, and why?
I just didn't want to wind up with a motor that ran great from 4500-6500 and was a dog everywhere else, whether that idea was founded in reality or not is a different story...
