I've been so depressed with my job I've been thinking of opening a business called "Slot Cars, Wargames, Alcohol and Barbecue". That way I could spend 40 hours a week doing just about everything I like to do.
I figure four out of five ain't bad...
Can we replace wargames with BMX stuff? Or are we talking about watching the Matthew Broderick film? Shall we play a game?

I read War Games as boxes of Avellon Hill stuff. We used to spend days playing Third Riech. I AMOST won once by a ballsy invasion of northern Germany. Somehow, my armor in Poland was not allowd to hold up the Germans inside of the German border, which ended my occupation of Berlin. I should have won.
In college, I loved the WWII dog fighting game. Now that there's computer games for that, it's very irrelevant, but at the time, I loved that. And was pretty good at it vs. Third Riech.
Lots of good war games out there.
Would be a super fun shop.
Oh- op- if it's a contest to see who finishes first, then, yes, it's a race. Just like 10,000 year ago when two guys got rocks to see which would make it down the hill first. Contestant A, B, ....., whoever crosses the line first wins= racing.

BMX would require physical exertion, so hell no.
Okay, maybe Kendo.
