I'm sure with this group of auto-nuts almost everything "normal" people think is odd or ugly is tolerated, if not loved. But is there a car or two that just can't be loved by anyone? Ever. I'm thinking cars like the Tempo/Topaz pair, or my pick, the Corsica (and apologies to those who actually like this one. Both of you).
One reason I'm asking is I might get a car most people, especially car people, hate. (Not that it will stop me from getting one..).
Citicar
Except for stampie. He likes them cause hes an odd bastard.

Smart car?
I know someone who wanted one, only his wife said no.

Fail. I like 'em too! ;)
I'm curious to see how this thread goes. The Junk Connoisseurs has some content dropping two weeks from today that is related.
I don't have an answer for you. Years ago I was working as a dismantler at a salvage yard. At the time I was president of the Central Florida Saturn Club, an oddity to be sure. A man came in and was excited to see we had a Nissan 200sx. As we pulled a huge number of parts from this wholey forgettible japanese nothing car he told me he was a member of the 200sx club.
I later purchased a '95 Trans Sport and found both Transsport.de and the pontiac bonneville club. This vehicle also brought me into contact with A-body.net for fans of celebrities, cutlass Sierras and centuries.
I became firmly committed to the belief that there is someone out there for every car.
Nissan Rogue and anything that looks like this^
Nissan Murano convertible
Datsun F10
I'll vote the Saturn L300. The larger, Saturn sedan ( a rebadged Opel) and specifically the 3.0L V6 version that shared the engine with the Catera.
Not a bad looking sedan when new though generally non- descript that did not age well. The wagon...cooler. The 4cyl versions...more reliable.
Even I love the Citicars because they're just so shockingly bad but still managed to somehow sell 4,500 of them. Smart cars were beloved by my last ENT who loved that she could park it literally anywhere. Even a nurse of mine from the Phillipines loves his Nissan Rouge.
I'm gonna say 80s American Renault, sans the Le Car (because of LeMons rallies) Because it was literally nothing but 80s econoboxes past 1984.
In reply to Duke :
Im sorry sir, but I love them for this specific reason alone:
No matter how bad a car is, someone, somewhere likes it.
Corollary: No matter how good a car is, a whole lot of people hate it.

In reply to GIRTHQUAKE :
Sorry, even that treatment can't fix the horrid proportions.
In reply to Duke :
Nice effort, but GQ is right. That Matador has some nice lines once you get rid of the enormous bumpers and peel back some of the overwhelming 70s kitsch. Like most later AMC products, it has a certain charm underneath the inevitable trappings of the era. And it was actually a legitimate race car:
I'm casting a vote for the Cadillac Cimarron.
Lest we forget...

Second-gen AMC Matador.
Once again, we agree. One of the ugliest and most grossly out of proportion cars ever built.
Why has the Altima not been mentioned yet?
In reply to NermalSnert (Forum Supporter) :
I think you might be right about the Rogue. Anyone who has any understanding of cars runs away.
The Lexus, not so much. They are really awful to look at but are otherwise quite nice. I don't have to look at it while driving.
I think Smarts are neat, having owned two. 1800 lbs and 70 hp.
I hated my Dad's Plymouth Horizon TC3.

The Matador coupe is almost cute compared to the Matador sedan
That thing has zero redeeming features

Are there any Nissan Murano apologists here?
Seems to be one of the most 3 out of 10 cars out there. For some reason they are everywhere though.
In reply to stan :
The F10/210 is one of the few cars that has never run in LeMons, per last year or so.
