I'm looking for the rear storage compartment for this xB I bought back in October (99% sure a kid before me removed it for stereo stuff). I saw an xB on craigslist maybe a month or so ago being parted out, at a local-ish yard. He wanted what I thought was way too much for just that bit (like$125), but now I'd consider offering $100 based on availability.
Except now I can't remember what yard it was. I tried Googling a few in the area, and no luck. Is there some way to search local, or even say within 150 miles, for at least the particular car?

Have you tried carpart.com? I haven't had any luck finding the exact part I was looking for yet but do at least find something close. I believe you do do nation wide or local search

There's an 05 and an 09 at Bessler's here in Hebron. Do either of those match your model? I could go out and grab it and bring it to the WOR Awards party in a couple weeks.
When you try car-part.com, which is the biggest, if the specific part you want is not listed, check for a few more common parts. Pick a yard that shows common stuff and call them.

In reply to wae:
Mine's an '04, first gen covers '04-'06, so that '05 works. Maybe I'll give them a call later, I need the two lids that flip up, and the foam that makes up the tray underneath.
Trying to use carparts.com to search for a specific piece that they don't list the name makes it interesting. I'm trying other rear bits to at least find xB's in stock. EDIT: which is exactly what streetwiseguy suggested...
car-part.com is great. Be a little cautious. First, its not necessarily the cheapest route. Second, these yards deal with millions of parts and most yards are stupid busy places. Don't expect them to know a lot about the part, and don't expect it to be well-described. All the person on the phone knows is that the computer says they got an xB last week and someone else in the office listed the part on car-part.
What will likely happen is you'll ask for them to check the condition or send a picture and they'll never call back because they're working on 100 other high-profit deals and (just being honest) your $30 purchase that requires packing and shipping is just not a priority. Be prepared to take most of the initiative.

I use car-part weekly but I would add to Curtis' notes that the lists are not guaranteed to be up to date.
I think this is one I used once or twice successful http://www.uneedapart.com/

Pick and pull, not nearly as big or cross coupled as carpart but another option of you're close and like to DIY
