I need quite a few parts to make my SHO motor for my Starlet whole. Among them are: wiring harness, flywheel/PP, fuel injectors. Those are the main ones. I have a decent lowish (70k miles supposedly) motor that I got for $150 dollars years ago. It has been stored indoors. This car has a lot of miles but everything I need to finish my engine. However, I would NEED to be able to part at least $750 out of this car to justify buying it. Other options are one of your has a manual trans SHO parts car with what I need on it and sells it to me for cheap or I start looking in yards. What say the hive mind?

Message "yamaha" on here. He has a few dozen of them inhs backyard or something.
I'd be terribly tempted to daily it until something NLA went boom, THEN part it.
Anyone know what's left of the 1st gen guys to buy parts? Seems there'd be more market for the 2nd gen cars, but I hardly have my finger on the pulse of the SHO scene.
holy crap I didnt realize he had so many!
WTF is going on with those tire marks in the back seat!?

I thought those were skid marks (rim shot), I'm here all week
Same color as my 90 :(
I know the climate control used to go for big money if the buttons were uncracked. If that 91 has a plastic hood (aka the Plus package hood, but found on a lot of vanilla 91's and some late '90 production cars) that also went for good money.
Also it looks to have a rod shifter assembly (if it has the smaller shifter opening trim), the 89/90/early 91's came with a cable shifter that was pretty sloppy, the rod shifter conversion went for a good bit of coin back in the day to people with earlier cars.
Hell I still got a Plus rear spoiler, side skirts and uncracked front and rear bumper for a first gen. I should get rid of em.
