Back story: I'm trying to find a paint matched bumper for the Miata I've just picked up. By reputation, the color (Mazda Titanium Grey - Paint code 25G) is notoriously difficult to paint match due to the high metal-flake content. They also didn't paint that many this particular color. The bad news is, it's in Kentucky, 7 1/2 hours away, and they don't ship body parts. Fortunately, before hopping in the car and trekking across country, I requested a current picture, since the pristine looking photo of the back half of the car wasn't dated. I got this:
The yard clearly isn't willing to put much work into cleaning it up before sending pics, so apparently that's what I'd be driving to pick. So, think this is salvageable or "c'est le fubar"?
