Got an air bag recall on my 330. I expect to receive multiple notices for 3 or 4 of our cars. This is (not) going to be fun. Who else is a victim of this Takata debacle?

I'm waiting to see on my hondas. Nothing yet. But so far it looks like honda is only recalling cars from "Humid areas"

Through an unfortunate set of circumstances I have a passenger side airbag for a 2006-2011 Civic that I have no use for, afraid to get rid of it because it may be pending a recall soon and i'd feel kind of bad selling someone a potentially defective part..

Got one for the RX8 like a year ago when the whole thing hit the news.

I got an airbag recall notice on my E46. About 18 months ago. They were supposed to contact me when parts where available. Still waiting.

In reply to Duke:

Was that the driver or pass air bag? I just got the notice for the pass air bag in my E46, and it reads like they have the part available and all I need to do is make an appointment.

Got one on the '03 Dodge Ram a few weeks ago. Took it in for the service and they told me it would take several days because they have to tear the dash apart. Shouldn't be that hard, since the dash is already falling apart 'cause Mercedes. What will be interesting is how they get all those dash pieces to sit back where they were without completely crumbling. The service manager told me that Chrysler may pay to fix the dash if (when) it falls apart in the service process, but that was between me and Chrysler and not up to the dealer. Didn't sound very promising. I had them do an oil change then took the truck home. I haven't decided what to do from here.

My stepdaughter got recall notices from Toyota for her '03 Corolla. However, the dealer can't fix it yet because there are no spares in the pipeline.

I took my RX8 in a month ago and they had it done in 30-40 minutes. I did call a week before and they had to order the parts, but it wasn't that bad.

I just got the passenger side on the E46 done last week. It took less than half an hour, so I just waited. Relatively painless.
