NOPE. No thanks. That's either a whole lot of spiders, or one extremely well established, territorial one!
I wonder about them saying it has a Powerglide transmission, a Pontiac would have had a four speed Hydramatic. Wish they had provided a picture of the interior. It looks like it could be a good project car (once the spider webs are cleared out, of course.)

Yeah, Pontiac never used a Powerglide from the factory. Their later 2-speed was the 100% unrelated Super Turbine 300 (actually, that was the Buick name for it, Olds called it the Jetaway, and Pontiac had no name for it)
Solutions here: Do I need to burn my vehicle to the ground because of spiders?
Shopvac, pressure washer, rubber gloves, respirator.
Gut it, that's the idea right? Interior is full of rodent poop, you know that. It is 61 years old.
SBC or LS swap w/ trans. Rad, suspension, brakes. Patch floors, upholstery redo.
That ain't turn-key. For a mostly rust free car that oughta fetch that money out east.
It is 61 years old.
I can't stop thinking about how cool it would be if it ran, looking like that.
I suspect heat and airflow would make it nigh impossible, but still, maybe there are synthetic materials that would work.
Think of it like a haunted house show car. New old looking white wall tires, body exactly as is, make the interior just nice enough to drive around without needing a shower, but then pop the hood and the little demon motor is there running, covered in webs and nasty, like it has no business turning over let alone leaving a patch on the asphalt.
Doesnt look too bad. The bodywork scares me more. A lighter and shopvac will do the engine bay justice.
what's with all this arachnaphobia ?
Take an old broom and just sweep up the web. The spider (s) will be long gone.

Such a shame that a good looking old survivor like that burned to the ground.

I was more impressed than freaked out. I did not see the webs coming, that's some impressive spider work.
After seeing multiple videos this week of how thousands upon thousands of fire ants in a colony can float in raging floodwaters, spiders don't scare me as much anymore!

Could be a Canadian market powerglide car, but it would have a Chev engine in front of it.
Be surprised if there were any spiders actually living in there. Looks pretty solid, with all the glass and trim.
You need to buy that car.
Keithster that 'Poncho' wagon rocks ...the PATINA alone is worth the price $$$$ of admission...I'm thinkin' MazD should reconsider the COE and jump boff feet into this...Major potential!!!!
It appears to be a chevy engine under all that berkeley no cuz spiders.
So might be a piwerglide.
Look at the valve covers. Chrome breather and 4 bolts.
