may or may not help .. I'm in the south ( albeit the mts of the south ) and it's 16° this morning
It is 1° and we have tons of lake effect snow on the western side of the state (Michigan) so that means I'm snowboarding tomorrow and Thursday. Then it is Sno*drift the rest of the weekend!!!
Also the cold snap will help with Ice racing season! I hope we have one this year...
I must be the only one here excited for the cold
A balmy 41 and clear with a high of 49 forecast for today. Tonight it will drop to the mid 20's with high around 50 and stay that way for the next 4 or 5 days.
My garage door froze shut - had to fool with the settings because the motor kicks out when it exceeds a certain resistance. I had to turn it up to full tilt, and it sounded like it was gonna pull itself off the ceiling.
-3 F according to the truck this morning. I thought of you technology-hating Luddites when I fired it up with remote start as soon as I got out of the shower.

Butt warmers are a wonderful thing! So is the ability to start my car with my phone...from the basement...in another state if need be
Back when I was working in the boatyards, 12° was my cutoff point. Anything colder and I was going home.
Just wait until someone else in another state starts your car from their basement.....then turns on the A/C......
