In the tradition on GRM, I am starting a thread before the car gets here
It's a 1994 Buick Roadmaster Sedan, in (supposedly) gunmetal blue. My wife's Aunt bought brand new, and although not super low miles (120K according to her daughter, 140K by her. And although her body is failing at almost 90, she is still as smart {and stubborn!!!}as ever.) It has always been garage kept, and meticulously maintained. No pictures yet, but the shipper may be there (Williamsburg Va) tomorrow or Friday.
Totally a classic: chrome bumpers, bench seat, column shift.
Last time I saw the car, 5-6 yr ago, I remember it looked like it had just rolled off the showroom floor.
No clue on interior color, and there are some horrible color decisions in '94, but I do know it's leather and LOTS of options. Don't know if it got the Touring suspension, or that boat - on - land DaynaRide. Being she has always been a showboat, I assume she ordered the better Touring suspension.
Even when her husband bought a HP package mustang in late 2000s, she would not give up her one car garage space... her baby was more important to her!! She is VERY proud of the "corvette engine" it came with, and mentions it often.
I never would have thought I would end up with it, but apparently, all the high falutin' yuppies in the family would not deign to drive something that "old and unreliable!!!"
So they made me a price that was worth jumping on, even with no income at the moment!
I'm looking forward to these photos!

One of the last 'merican big sedans! Wish it was a wagon, even with one of the ugliest tails.
Hard to believe it's elegable for antique tags now; guess that just shows my age!
My car is an 03, but another RWD BOF sedan, and my truck an 03 as well. Newest is my wife's 07 Highlander, and maybe it's a lemon - but what a disappointing appliance. Shoulda never bought anything that new, but we fell for the Toyota dependability rumors. Sadly, didn't get it![crying crying](https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/static/ckeditor/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/cry_smile.png)
In reply to AnthonyGS (Forum Supporter) :
Hopefully, it's a nice as my memory, but am aware that my hind sight may have rose colored glasses on ![surprise surprise](https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/static/ckeditor/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/omg_smile.png)

JG had the wagon version. It was cool.
I never did warm up to the looks of it and it's siblings, or wagons, but I can't think of anything I can personally maintain cheaper. The Merc. is it's runner up, and looks and handles better (I think), but way cheaper options for the GM siblings. GM interchangeably is a wonderful trait!!!
In reply to David S. Wallens :
I've drooled over many on here! Most have NOT been rust free!
We bought the 07 a few years before the crazy, with only 120K - and in next 3 years had an additional $4-5 grand in repairs. Always broke right before I went out of town for a job, so that all shop money. We've so much in it, we plan to drive it till it dies. But the MPG is only 17 or so, and that's a joke. Can't afford diesel today, and the Merc doesn't have room for the dogs that go with us a lot. And I don't kee it clean enough for her! If we keep the appliance, we might just put antique tags on this, for my wife.

Not sure when gm left the chrome bumpers by the wayside, but like the Merc., its poly covers with chrome trim. Does make the 'merican statement of the past (I tend to be stuck in) though! More so than the Merc, even.

I think it's a bit darker blue than this one...
SHMBO is even looking fwd to it as much as me!

Also body on frame, I believe. It's got more in common with my '66 Cadillac than any car for sale to the public in the past decade.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
You're completely right! It's actually the better car than the fleetwood it shares it's frame with,, I think. Most of the luxury, without some of the caddy quirks Will point point out, GM made the last one 30 years after your 66!
I've had a couple Roadmaster wagons and enjoyed them. I always preferred the front end on the sedan. That interior also looks different and cool!
So what's the plan Panther? Run as is or lift it with big mudders? WWGRMD?

Current plan is semi-DD for the financial manager, and she will leave it mostly stock. With my gravel driveway, I'll not lower it, but I'm sure I'll want to improve the suspension some. All the performance springs lower it, so I'll need to make something up!
In reply to stuart in mn :
Thanks for that link. I'd be very surprised if mine was not in the glove box!
I think mine is a bit lighter blue, but that sure is sharp. I hope mine has that color interior.
God those seats!
it looks like you could have your partner sit next you with your arm over their shoulder as you drive, which is the best!
Shipper is being flaky about setting a date/time to pick up in Williamsburg VA..
Anyone wanna drive this the down to AL? We could meet part way, or I could drive ya most anywhere after it gets down here!
Shipper finally got it here. What a pain. Don't know if I'll ever do that again. Final cost was half the car! But still takes total to less than it's worth, and the financial manager would not have let me run it in the challenge, anyway!

One shopping cart sent in pass. side, and a few minor scratches on trunk, since gas cap in behind license plate - I assume the gas pump nozzle made em. Aunt Nancy probably started getting the shakes, not long after buying it new! But still drive till about 2 years ago!
Otherwise body looks showroom fresh!

Obligitory gas station pic... Drove straight to get new fuel in it. Cousin drove it around some to get 2 year old gas run out some![surprise surprise](https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/static/ckeditor/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/omg_smile.png)
Paint is the lighter blue, I was thinkin' it was. We love the color.
Interior is blue, but at least it's the lighter grey blue. The leather looks showroom as well. GM plastic ain't showroom, but better than most!!!

much more of a light blue than pic. Leather 'bout the same color as paint!

wish it had the touring suspension, but SWMBO is gonna make me leave it alone. I might get to sneak better shocks on it, claiming these are worn out (they prolly ain't!)
Brand new Hankook Milestar whitewall tires... not sure they are even made still!

DOT T7M1 (DFH 3309)
if one of you kind gentleman will decode that for me; save a inter-web search!
No pic, but 125,326 miles. Not low, but oh my, this car is CLEAN
last picture and question for today... is the upper and lower wood look trim available for the drivers door? Only real interior flaw!
