It started innocently enough a few years ago... I will drag home one mid 80s F250 Diesel ex Fire truck and make it a cool house/shop rig. Then "had to" use it to drag home a parts truck to make it better. Then another. Then while still very innocently shopping for parts, others attacked my sensibilities and made me buy them. 82 F100 for my Son to restore (he did a beautiful job!) 84 LTD Crown Vic State Patrol car. 84 Mustang 20th anniversary convertible. And just now a Banks equipped 83 F250 2WD that "was going to be a parts beast" for the aforementioned instigator truck. And that even my Wife loves. Oh boy.... Don't know that I have reached the 10th step on this escalator but surely feels like I am heading that way.
No pics of your problem?!

This one (last one?) lived in Cali near Banks place. It had a Banks emblem on the fender when I first spied it. Guess no one else knew what that meant... 102K documented miles. The plan was to swap all the Banks stuff over to the red 250 but damn. Its just so cool as it is. Will see.
Wow, that's a really cool fleet!
I had a Crown Vic just like that one. Same color and everything. I loved that car. I was commuting 100 miles round trip a day and that thing would eat miles like nobody's business. Plus the cops were still using them at that time and if you came up behind someone in a hurry on a two lane most of the time they'd pull over and let you by.
That is an awesome fleet!!! I'm not even a truck guy, but I love the ones you have. So nice. Oh, where's a picture of your 80's mullet? Gotta dress the part if you're gonna play the part...LOL.
I shouldn't talk. I just pulled the trigger on my second Pontiac Fiero....

The 84 LTD Crown Victoria was an unmarked Md. (maybe admin) State Patrol car originally ordered out of the Washington DC district. Never had a light bar or spotlight but did have siren, radios, antennas. It has every single thing that all of us would order if we could. Dual exhaust 351HO, (had to have a federal exemption to get this) 750lb front springs! Big brakers, Factory gauge pack, bucket seats,Rubber floor, 140 Calibrated speedo, one key... I was really surprised by how many items on the car were specific to this pkg. Including a different frame and reinforced roof. And other than the awful VV carb which is leaving, it is absolutely shockingly good to drive. When the project list has calmed down it will get the HCI, 3.55s and exhaust treatment. What a great car!
