A great story even if he kinda overlooked many of the vices of his racers. SCCA didnt want to join the 20th century and he took advantage of that. Sound familiar?
Racing has lost one of its' greatest visionaries. With the co-operation and encouragement of France Sr, IMSA likely exceded eithers' wildest dreams. Too bad the current generation of France spawn doesn't have Sr's complete gene chain.
RIP, Mr Bishop.
