Motherberkeleying mice are in my cars. Again. This time the nice ones. They don't meas with the daily drivers, just the toys.
I know we had a thread, and now I can't find it.
How do I keep the motherberkeleying mice out of my cars that are parked in the carport with a cover on?

I tried the dryer sheets and it kept them out. I also forgot to put them in last winter and they stayed out as well. I keep a small pine needle filled cushion in my car, but it's just because I like the smell. I don't know if that kept them out either. My car is also stored in a garage.
My neighbors cat has eliminated my mice problem. I used to catch the little buggers all the time in traps in and around my garage. No more.
I don't think there's much you can do for a car that's parked outside. I've seen mice build nests with dryer sheets, so they don't necessarily keep them away. I've also seen them chew on mothballs and Irish Spring soap, so those methods often recommended don't necessarily help either.
Drive them hard and often

Put the ones you catch on bamboo skewers around the carport as a warning to other mice
I don't know about keeping them out the car but to keep them from chewing the wires you need to disconnect the battery.
At least that worked for stored vehicles at my old hunting camp.
Most common entry is the fresh air inlet for the heater/AC, or at least that was it on my wife's old Rav4. I used some hardware cloth and stitched it over the opening using wire and a series of small holes drilled in the plastic air inlet. No more mice after that. You can also try to always park with it set to recirc, as there's usually a door that will cover the opening in that setting.
