So in my seemingly never ending quest to find my issues (well, for the car - I have lots of life issues...), and going off my P1504 code, there is a short vacuum line that runs from the front of the manifold to around the bottom of the TB in the area of the IACV, and that rubber is hard - potentially part of the problem as I see it...

Then there's the vacuum line that runs from a "pot" at the front of the manifold towards one at the back, and which appears to be part of the fuel management hosing.

Would the hard/hardish vacuum line, presuming it allows air leaks from time to time, on either of these items, cause my "drop idle and die" or "stumble at rpm and die" issues?

In reply to captdownshift:

Thanks. The vacuum hoses will of course be replaced, just wondering if they are likely to cause my issues of dying yet no codes... seems passably logical anyway.

The car made it in fine to work this AM, popped the hood to see what I could see, but for all I know those things would just make the car idle at 1500 or something... I'll play with it at lunch, too...
